USAF Engineering Division. Aviation engines were evaluated prior to admission. They were even made of their own design. It was the "Engineering Division" of the United States Air Force when they were still the US Air Corps.

-Throughout this A-Z edition, this Center is mentioned several times.

-Later it would be called Wright Field, in the same place in Dayton, OH. And later it was renamed Wright-Patterson AFB.

-It was the "USA Engineering Division-Air Service" (see) that made the W-1 and W-2 engines.
