MALESICE

(Czechoslovakia)

MALESICE engine specifications

During WWII the Germans occupied a series of factories that produced aeronautical material in that country, and eventually they dedicated one of these to manufacture the Me-262 aircraft.

-As after the war all the industrial infrastructure was intact, with the new Russian orientation, some aircraft of this type continued to be built under the name of CS92 and S92. But in small quantities.

-The engines were Czechoslovakian, and were called M-04, but known as "the Malesices". This was in 1948.

-Shortly afterward they were replaced by licensed MiG-15s.

From Appendix 6: "Malesice" is the name given to the M-04 engines made by Avia for the Me-262 aircraft that were built in Malesice (Czechoslovakia).

-They were German BMW-003 engines, manufactured under license by Avia.
