The Fábrica Militar de Aviación (FMA) built the "Aztatl" engine, an Anzani with 6 cylinders that gave 80 CV, under license.

-MAF stands for “Military Aviation Factory”.

-Another engine was the Anzani with 10 cylinders that gave 130 CV, known as the “Mexico”.

-Also other engines were built, among them the Hispano Suiza V8, with machinery and tools imported from the Barcelona factory.
