More information at the MAE

From Appendix 9: The author has found that the same turbines are shown under the names of Lysholm and Ljungström.

-We will have to consult the MAE files at Le Bourget, where there is additional information.

Lysholm turbojet
“Lysholm turbojet”

Lysholm turboprop
“Lysholm turboprop”

From Appendix 11: We have found some information that tells us that Alf J.R. Lysholm was the chief engineer of "AB Ljungström Ångturbin" (Ljungström Steam Turbines Inc.). This is why the same turbines are found under both names.

From Appendix 12: We located a patent for a “Gas turbine for aerial propulsion”.

-This patent was obtained in the year 1936, so it can be considered an advance in gas turbine propulsion (although this was a turboprop).

-We have two pages of patent drawings, the first one with cowling and propeller included.
