LTV stands for “Ling Temco Vought”, in its “Vought Systems Division.” They built the ALVRJ system, a ramjet combined with a solid rocket, for air-to-air projectiles.

-It used two J-85 engines sending gas to turbines that drive compressors that blow air into the wings. It is a complex engine-powered system.
