The engine that is attributed to Jorge Loring in both the AISA and Rein Loring chapters has been discovered.

-First to clarify that Rein Loring are the surnames of Fernando Rein Loring, family member of Jorge Loring.

-The engine attributed to Loring (Jorge) has been found by chance in the historical record of the OEPM (Spanish Patent and Trademark Office).

-There the aviation engine with patent number 68049 that Jorge Loring presented for registration and protection was registered.

-Clearly it is an 18-cylinder W-engine, in three banks of six cylinders placed in an upright fan-shape. It looks like it should have been very powerful.

-The design of this engine was made jointly with Baradat, that is to say that Claudio Baradat joined Jorge Loring. It was never manufactured.
