The 42 kW EM-42 electric motor is installed on an outer mast on the back of the Lange Antares 20E motorized glider.

-The combination is called Lange EA-42. and is composed of the mentioned EM-42 engine and the LE-42 control box.

-The EM-42 engine weighs almost 30 kg and has a diameter of 25 cm. It is brushless. It drives a two meter diameter two-blade propeller.

-The control box weighs almost 10 kg. Separately there is a battery pack.
