Under this name the Ne-20 turbojet is known as well. It is designed and built at the Naval Air Arsenal (sometimes Naval Air Technical Arsenal).
-Precisely the Naval Air Technical Arsenal was situated in the town of Kugisho, hence its name sometimes.
-The Ne-20 turbojet was intended for the Nakajima Kikha (Orange Blossom), in response to the North American superiority.
-In several texts the construction of the engine is attributed to Nakajima itself.
-Although it is assumed of Japanese design there is a strong influence of the BMW-003.

From Appendix 6: Continuing with the description of the main text, we now have new views of the 1940’s when Japan was occupied by American troops. (See Naval Arsenal).
-The Okha 22 was a manned flying bomb, powered by an Ne-20 turbojet.

-At the Kugisho Arsenal, rocket engines were also made. They were based on the German Walter that used T and C fuels.
