Under this name the Ne-20 turbojet is known as well. It is designed and built at the Naval Air Arsenal (sometimes Naval Air Technical Arsenal).

-Precisely the Naval Air Technical Arsenal was situated in the town of Kugisho, hence its name sometimes.

-The Ne-20 turbojet was intended for the Nakajima Kikha (Orange Blossom), in response to the North American superiority.

-In several texts the construction of the engine is attributed to Nakajima itself.

-Although it is assumed of Japanese design there is a strong influence of the BMW-003.
