Engine manufactured under license from Armstrong Siddeley by this Amsterdam brand to be installed on Fokker planes. It was the "Genet Major" engine model.
From Appendix 7: At a museum in this country there is a radial engine of the "Kromhout Motoren Fabr." brand.
"The exposed Kromhout engine"
-It was constructed by D. Goedkoop Jr. at N.V. Amsterdam. It is an engine that is manufactured under license from the English Armstrong Siddeley of Coventry.
-The model is a Genet Major Mk-1A.

From Appendix 12: The Dutch Kromhout Motors Fabr (KMF) made two radial piston engines around 1939 to be installed on Fokker planes.
-The 7-cylinder received the reference S.1 and the 9-cylinder S.9.
-The latter was from the year 1940 and its project was interrupted by WWII.

“The seven-cylinder S.1 (lic of the Genet)”
-It seems that the 9-cylinder had its process interrupted so there is no information or illustration of this engine.

-After the war in 1955/57, NHI manufactured and tested the Kolibrie Helicopter. NHI (Nederlandse Helicopter Industrie) was a joint venture between Aviolanda and Kromhout. The latter designed and manufactured the TJ-5A ramjets.
