From Appendix 12: Sometimes Kereeva. While in the RBVZ, V.V. Kireev got a 150 hp Mercedes engine that he studied fully. It was a 6-cylinder in-line 2-stroke engine. From this engine came the M-1 (RVBZ-6), installed on the great plane (at the time) Ilya Murometz.
