Mr. Kenneth Monson, from Utah, manufactures some interesting engines based on the VW “Beetle” car engine cylinders.

-They are based on two VW car engine models, the 1600 cc and 2400 cc. Four different variants of 3, 5, 7 and 9 cylinders are prepared, giving each engine 20 to 25 hp for each cylinder.

-The only test is the one seen on the 3-cylinder that appears here with a strange wooden board in front of it as a propeller or possible brake, or for adjusting.

-Kenneth Monson is a fan of radial engines. In 1995 he presented an engine built by him with used machinery.
