KARLIS IRBITIS

(Latvia)

Karlis Irbitis was a designer of an original engine, with three crankshafts interconnected through the propeller gear. It is an interesting project.

-It was planned for 1,800 HP maximum, consisting of 36 cylinders in 6 blocks of 6. Specifically they are cylinder banks from the American Ranger.

-The arrangement of these cylinder blocks is not common and the engine model was baptized as MI-02.
