In 1933 they made the Jimpu Z-type 7-cylinder radial engines with 130 hp. They were installed on the Nin-Hai plane.
-Later, other Japanese planes - during the occupation - took this engine like the Taichi R-52 trainer aircraft.
-The Jimpu 3, a radial engine as well, gave 180 hp, and was installed on the Hitachi T-2.
