This brand may be unknown in aviation but it is very important as a manufacturer of Formula 1, Indycar and Nascar engines for cars and high-speed boats Cat. P1 (Powerboat 1).

-It was founded in 1984 in England by Mario Illen and Paul Morgan. In 1990 it is also established in the USA. The engines with which they started were based on GM and Mercedes.

-In aviation they have just offered a small engine for use on UAV, the 955 cc Hornet model with 3 cylinders in line and 12 valves.

From Appendix 9: Ilmor has announced an aviation version of the MV8, 7.4 L or so it appears in a publication.
