Manufacturer of piston engines of Russian origin.

Huo Sai HS-7
“HS-7”

- As we saw in previous chapters referred to the material of Chinese origin as CATIC,

-Huo-Sai, was the name given to piston engines.

-The HS-7 has been shown here but there are others, HS-6 etc. The HS-7 is actually a Shvetsov Ash-82 FN that gives 1,800 hp at 2,600 rpm. It was manufactured under license.

-The HS-6A is the AI-14R under Ivchenko license.

-Indigenous are the HS-16 with 16 HP (see Yuhe YH-280) at 6,000 rpm. These 4-cylinder, 2-stroke engines were manufactured between 1982 and 1988.

-The HS-26 with four cylinders gave 26 hp at 5,500 rpm. The same for the HS-510 that gave 30 hp.

-These small engines are applicable in small target aircraft (drones) and RPV.
