-It is famous for its flights and exotic aircraft manufactured under its aegis, such as the "Spruce Goose".

-Hughes Tool is also known for the manufacture of recognized helicopters such as the Hughes 269 and 500.

-Some information tells us that the LR-107 rocket engines were also manufactured at Hughes Tool.

-In the experimental field at the Testing Laboratory, the XIPS, ion thruster (Electric/Xenon) was tested as satellite thruster.

-The cluster model with 4 "thrusters", only measured 13 cm, and 2 thrusters were the main ones and the other 2 were backup.
