These engines were designed by David L. Herman in Detroit, MI.
-In 1910, he made an 8-cylinder V-engine that gave 45 hp, and one that gave 70 hp with the same architecture. Both engines were water cooled.
-The cylinders were in pairs and with L-shape combustion chambers.
