Hercules Inc was formerly called Hercules Powder Company. In 1966 they changed the name.

Below we show an illustration of a rocket engine developed by Hercules Inc. and Thiokol Corp. for the Trident C-4 submarine launch missile.

-The tests for simulating the conditions of high altitude, as shown in the picture above, were made at USAF's Arnold Development and Engineering Center.

-All those attached dark ducts provide the desired density and temperature conditions to the various engine spots.
