During the Second World War they collaborated in manufacturing Daimler Benz "600" series engines.
From Appendix 9: The factory was located in Kassel, and as mentioned in the main text, they made the DBs of the "600" series.
-Although without any illustration, which we can show now.

“Henschel test bench”
-Curiously we have located this bench at Henschel that is identical to the one that Spanish INTA has in Torrejon de Ardoz. It was contributed by the Germans during WWII. Or that they had it, because I have heard that they will make it disappear at iron weight. Is is a FAMO bench?.

“FAMO ad with their test benches” (PiP)
-When we see the INTA chapter of this publication, we will see that the bench is exactly the one of the ad and the picture, with few variants, because it is possible that the one shown here was somewhat modernized.
