"Aviación General SA" entered a tender of the Spanish MoD for the SIAP program with an RPV driven by an engine developed by the same company in collaboration with the ETSIA Chair of Alternative Motors.

-The result was a horizontally-opposed two-cylinder engine with Montesa motorcycle cylinders and Motoplat ignition.

-The engine received the designation of Helios/Montesa 2501.
