Through the AEHS have obtained three photographs of Heinkel Hirth's most operational engine during the Second World War, the Hes-011.

-The first photograph of the one that was exhibited at the 2002 Oshkosh Air Venture.

-In the second illustration you can clearly see the ring for starting the small Riedel engine with two horizontally-opposed cylinders (oversquare, more bore than stroke) placed at 11 o'clock and is used to start the main turbine.

-One axial compressor stage is at the engine intake, followed by a diagonal stage and two axial ones with a larger diameter. That is also seen in the photo below from the EAA museum in which an air intake has been added

-In the decade of the 1950's, German and Spanish technicians together made the INI-11 clearly based on this engine of German origin. (See INI).

-An INI-11 is kept in the warehouse of the Cuatro Vientos Museum in Madrid.
