The Hansen & Snow factory was in Pasadena, CA. The engine that is built in 1910 is very similar to those the Wright brothers.
-It was a water-cooled, 4 cylinder, in-line engine that gave 30/35 HP.
-They were two partners, W.G. Hansen and L.L. Snow. The history of this 30 HP engine is that it flew for some time on a Wright-type aircraft and for an extended period on an airship.
-The cylinders were covered by copper plate and the valves were controlled by a camshaft on top of the cylinder heads. It had a Stromberg carburetor and Bosch magneto.

-It had a displacement of 226.2 cu. in. and its weight without flywheel was 105 lbs.
From Appendix 12: Below we show an improved and clearer photo of this engine.
