American brand of engines with upright in-line cylinders built between 1911 and 1912.
-A four-cylinder equipped with Schebler carburetor and Bosch magnetos gave 40 HP.
-There was a similar engine with six cylinders giving 60 hp. It had a Rayfield carburetor. Another six-cylinder, somewhat smaller, gave 50 HP.
-They were built by Kemp Machine Works. They were also known as Kemp Gray Eagle. Attention, see also "Gray Eagle". They are the same engines but the confusion of separating them comes from the propaganda by manufacturers and dealers.
-A Kemp G-2 is known. It has 2 horizontally-opposed cylinders and gives 16 hp at 1,200 rpm
