The Belgian Robert Fabry installed a Gillet motorcycle engine on his plane "L'Aviette" around the years 1926-27.

-It had a displacement of 500 cc and according to its size and weight, it was considered a ULM.

-The 350 cc Gillet engine was also adapted for aviation. Both engines were single-cylinders.
