General Air Motors Co. Inc. (sometimes General Airmotors Co.), of Saranton, PA, built the "Moore Three Valves" 5 and 7 cylinder radial engines.
“5 and 7-cylinder”
-The designation "Three Valves" corresponded to the insertion of two intake valves and one exhaust valve in each cylinder.
-The five-cylinder gave 150 hp at 1,850 rpm, and the seven-cylinder gave 210 hp at the same rpm.
-See more information about the 5 radial cylinders in the USNA registry 3267/452.8.
-We obtained better photographs of the five-cylinder Moore, since the drawing that appears in the main text is very blurred and "rehashed" from the successive reproductions that it had suffered in other publications.
