EUROPROPULSION SA engine specifications

Europropulsion SA is a company founded in 1986 by Avio and Safran with the aim to ensure cooperation for the Ariane and Vega launchers.

-Today it is controlled 50/50 by Avio and Ariane Group (Airbus and Safran).

-This company controls the development of the large solid rocket engines used by the rockets in the ESA programs.

-Since 2014 Europropulsion SA is responsible for the development of the new  SRM P120C rocket engine. This engine will be common in the Ariane-6 and Vega-C launchers.

-In July 2018 the first successful test-bench test was made.
