-Very light as we can see in the illustration below of the rotor winding. The material in the cage is based on carbon fiber.
"Dharma rotor"
-At the moment two engines of this project are known:
-The motor that delivers 800 W at 4,000 rpm, with 80 mm diameter and weighing 550 gr. It was intended for the SoLong UAV.
-And the one that gave 15 Kw at 800 rpm, and was 430 mm in diameter, weighing 8 Kgs. This motor was intended for the Piccard Solar Drive Vehicle.
