Around 1910 a rotary engine called "Rotaero" was manufactured by "Michigan Airship Co."

-It was of a different concept with respect to known other ones. It had a single body with one perfectly balanced cylinder.

-The different stages of admission, compression, combustion and exhaust occur at the same time but in opposite directions. It is based on the 2-stroke cycle.

-Another feature is that the ignition system is very simplified, unlike the rotaries with multiple cylinders since the spark occurs at the same time in the two cylinders.
