Crossley Motors Ltd. in Manchester obtained a contract to build 1000 ABC Dragonfly engines in WWI, but with the war ending in 1918 there wasn't any time to deliver any.

-They also made the Redrup wobbleplate axial. It is exhibited in pieces at the Manchester Museum.
