This American company has developed an engine that mixes theories of four-stroke and two-stroke engines.
"Computerized representation of the engine"
-With oscillating plate and without valves to create cycles. It uses ports.
-Below wee see a test prototype in a photograph of its presentation during an Air Meeting in the year 2003.
"Compound Engine on a test bench"
-This test engine performs four effective strokes per revolution, and does not require pressure lubrication. It is very compact and hardly vibrates.
-It has an inner 2:1 reduction.
-It is a double-cylinder engine with a displacement of 1,200 cc. The delivered power is expected to be 80 hp evolving to 100 hp.
