The Clerget-Renault 2-A engine was designed before 1921 and originally installed in the "Avionette" as a Clerget engine.
-Later it was redesigned and built by Renault as model 2-A definitively.
-It was a two-cylinder, horizontally-opposed, air-cooled engine. It was made for light aircraft and gave up to 16.5 CV at 1,800 rpm.
