In 1904,  in his airship no 7,  Alberto Santos Dumont had installed a Buchet engine, which he replaced by a 4-cylinder Charron-Girardot et Voigt engine that gave 60 CV.

-On the number 6 from 1902 he used a small 12 CV Buchet engine. For the similar number 7 a 16/20 CV, four-cylinder Charron-Girardot et Voigt was installed.
