CHAINSAW

(International)

Some small engines from these sawing machines have been installed on ultralights and motor gliders, without detailing engine brand, for example on the Lazair Spirit.

From Appendix 10: Small engines used in ultralights.

-Not only of motorized chain saws, but also from other autonomous portable devices such as the Jaws of Life engines,

-They are engines used by firefighters in car accident rescues, to cut the self-supporting cabin by the pillars, doors, and get out trapped people.

-These engines drive a small hydraulic pump that multiplies its force in a piston that operates a shear capable of a huge force.

-In a Kissimmee Association in Florida, USA I saw an application of this motor in a twin-engine ULM.

-The Association was Warbirds Adventures.
