-It is an adapted modern automotive diesel engine that has a displacement of 1.7 l. This engine has four inclined cylinders and is liquid cooled, It gives 135 hp at 2,300 rpm.

-It is turbocharged, which is necessary to maintain final compression pressure at high altitudes, and is designed to replace leaded gasoline because of the existing environmental prohibition in the USA and Europe.

-It can run on diesel and Jet A1.
