CEC stands for "Chengdu Engine Company" (also known as CEF).

-Aircraft engine factory located in Chengdu, as we saw in Catic.

-The first turbojet they built, was the RD-500K (a derivative from the RR Derwent).

-It mainly builds the WP-6 and WP-13 engines, while It also improves the Catic WP-13 and WP-4 together with Snecma.

-CEC manufactures parts and components for other Western brands such as Pratt & Whitney.
