In 1917, Ramón Casanova, already studied and designed a Pulsejet engine that he called "combustion engine for all kind of vehicles."

-A scale model of this engine can be seen at the Museum of Science and Technology of Catalonia in Terrassa, near Barcelona.

-It started with acetylene gas and then changed over to benzine.

-The tests were done sliding along a cable and the prototype crashed against the end wall.

-It is somewhat similar to the German V-1 engine, but rustic and many years before. It had valves and injectors in the frontal part of the inlet as we see in the photograph, but adding another valve in the exhaust.
