-At the beginning of the "jet" era, the company was involved in the manufacture of engines that were designed outside the company.

-But they also made own designs or projects, like the one that was published around the early 1940's.

-It is a turboprop, whose principle is the same as for those which might be built today. It had a compressor, annular chamber, multiple turbine, gearbox and propeller.
