León Bollée founded Amédé Bollée for manufacturing motor vehicles in Le Mans, in 1873.

-Many years later he built Wright engines under license. These engines gave 30/35 hp at 1350 rpm.

From appendix A3/6: See Leon Bollee. Bolleé was an early car manufacturer that made Wright upright four-cylinder engines under license for the European market.
