This company was founded in 1966 to develop modifications to N. Kuznetsov's engines. It also had its application at the Gazprom facilities. It is a Joint Stock Company JSC.
-It joined the OKB-276 with the OKB-16 in Zubets, Kazan and there they developed the NK-8 engine for the Il-62, as well as the RD-3M-500 and TG-16. The RD-3M are the Mikulin AM-3.
-They also built the stationary NK-16ST series, and the NK-38ST or NK-36ST for gas pumping.
