Ames Industrial Corp. is a company associated with Microturbo (French) and approved by the FAA as a maintenance station for small turbines.

-Ames holds the license to build small TRS-18 Microturbo turbojets, known as "Microjet-Turbojet". It was used in the BD-5J.

-An ultralight single-seater (seen in a James Bond movie) and several self-propelled gliders.

-To build the TRS-18-046 with 200 lbs of thrust at 44,000 rpm, Ames obtained the FAA Type Certificate number E13CE.
