Alturair builds Wankel rotary engines for its use in VLA and homebuilt aircraft. The company is located in California, El Cajon.

"Alturair Wankel system"

-The A-650-1 has a single body with one rotor, an electronic ignition and a carburetor. It is water cooled.

-It gives 100 hp at 6,000 rpm and it weighs 64 Kg.

-The A-650-2 has a double body with the same characteristics as above but giving 200 hp at the same rpm.

-Both engines can drive a fan or a propeller.
