Albatross Code Detroit, MI made engines that were designed by Fred Weinberg between 1910 and 1911. These Albatross engines are generally accepted as the first fixed radial engines designed in the US.
-He also participated in developing the Gyros during their experimental period.
-In 1910 the 50 hp engine came out with 1,230 rpm. It had six cylinders with a displacement of 477 cu. in. and it was air cooled.

-The 100 hp engine with 1,230 rpm, was larger: 712.43 cu. in. and was water cooled.

-In 1912 they offered a new inline 4-cylinder engine in blocks of two cylinders each. It gave 50 hp. It is not sure if it has been used for aviation.
