The AIRCAT was a 5-cylinder radial engine and it was built by the Detroit Aircraft Engine Corp.

-It is mentioned that the engine was developed by Rickenbacker and Angle in 1925.

-The manufacturing was first done in Detroit AEC in a pre-series and then together with their tools it was sold to LeBlond that continued manufacturing it.

-The engine gave 60 hp at 1,800 rpm and 80 hp at 2,400 rpm.
