THOMAS-MORSE AIRCRAFT CORPORATION engine specifications

As discussed in the Thomas Aeromotor Company chapter, this company merged with the Morse Chain Company to form the Thomas-Morse Aircraft Corporation in 1917.

-It was commissioned to build the Liberty Six, of which it made 52 engines, in the production distribution of this war-effort engine. (see Liberty).

-The Liberty 6 was an upright six-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that gave 200/215 HP.

-There were two models, one giving 135 HP and the other one 150 HP. They had L-shaped chambers and cylinder heads that can be easily changed.
