The main partner of the Vega launcher program is Italy (Avio = 70%), accompanied by Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands, and France.

The Vega launcher uses rocket engines in the following distribution: the P-80, in the first stage. The second stage carries a Sapphire 23, the third a Sapphire 9, and the fourth, or avionics module, carries an AVUM.

The first three are solid-fueled, and the AVUM uses UDMH and liquid nitrogen tetroxide.
