H&I Powerplants adapted 602cc Citroën engines for use in light aviation.

-The first, 602cc, is the same as the Citroën car brand, rebuilt, with adapted reduction gear.

-It has a 34mm Mikuni carburetor, a 8-Amp alternator and electric starter.

-It is offered with three possible reduction ratios: 2.043, 2.65 and 3.0 to 1.

-It weighed 98 lb with all accessories, and the power was 40 HP at 5,600 rpm.
