In 1908, Thames Ironworks Shipbuilding and Engineering Co. Ltd. in London built a 30 HP, water-cooled, horizontally opposed, four-cylinder engine.

-These shipyards made aircraft engines under the name “Thames.”

-The ad showed below announces a four-cylinder engine with the world records from 50 to 300 miles. We have no illustration of this engine, but we continue to investigate.
