The Vauxhall aircraft engine was an experimental, water-cooled V-12 at 60°.
- It was designed by L.H. Pomeroy and built by Vauxhall Motors Ltd. in Luton Beds during WWI, in 1917. It was designed for 175 HP, and in tests it produced 192 HP at 2000 rpm.
- Later, it achieved 225 HP, after some improvements.
- It had a reduction gear, so the propeller rotated at 0.4 rpm from the engine. It had a displacement of 557 cu. in.
- It had four B&B carburetors and Dixie magnetos.
