Aerospace Engines A to Z
Aerospace Engines A to Z

Updated: 13-Feb-2016

Salvatore Aiello gets the idea of using current automotive turbochargers to expose a series of very interesting jet engines.

-On his website, salvatoreaiello.com, which sadly does not exist anymore, he exhibited an interesting series of these engines, starting with the most basic of a single turbocharger, we see below.

“Three views of the first example”

-With two turbosuperchargers he has two designs, one with two parallel turbos and the other is a convergent situation on a single nozzle.

-Similarly, the parallel and convergent version of six turbochargers.

-All of them have a unique combustion chamber. The architectural mounting solution of all Aiello engines have attracted the curiosity and interest of the author of this publication.

-Although we all know that the current standard turbosuperchargers are very heavy.

-Salvatore indicates his interest in maintaining his rights reserved. It seems right to me, but disclosing his idea without commercial interest has not prevented me from bringing it here.

-However, to make disclosure in a different way, the author will be contacted for permission.

-I insist that I could not resist the beauty of these engines and originality by using existing elements.

Congratulations Salvatore!  PiP (Permission is Pending).
